The beautiful village of Aubeterre is only a couple of kilometres away with, during the summer months, its river 'beach', village square, local artisan workkshops, various bars and retaurants.
The many towns and villages play host to festivals from Show Jumpimg Events, Flower boating, duck racing and even 'jousting' along the river.
Also popular in the area are the numerous cross country cycle tracks, walks and kayaking. These are all based locally.
